Elder's c-section was a trial and the recovery was . . . HORRIBLE and HELLISH . . . but thank you sweet Jesus, that I never had to deal with what you described. OUCH!!!!!!! Rotten old man doctor! Hopefully he suffered through bouts of constipation in his dottering old age and someone made HIM push for three hours. Of course, nothing he could produce would compare to that head!!!! That's OK . . . you tell that fine young man of yours that I said "Of course his head was big . . . it'd have to be to fit his brain!" That's what I tell my girls . . . both had HUGE heads (and is probably why I never dilated . . . my cervix just said, "HELL NO!"). Oh . . . my . . . gawd!

OUCH on the actual birth. you poor thing.. Most all us kids had to babysit to make money so we were old hands at the cloth diapers and BIG ASS pins you had to get just right or puncture them and they SCREAM in your ear like they are being killed!! Ahhh the memories.. and I don't have one child of my own.. I raised a damn slew of them though.. Day old to 14 or so. Long story. anyway.. thanks for sharing it. As the mother of a son, I read that and looked at those pics with my heart in my throat. Seeing him all grown up made me think of seeing my son, one of these days (likely sooner than I think!) all grown up into a man, but with my little baby boy still inside!!! Your son is gonna die when he sees this, isn't he? LOL If I see him out, I swear to god I'm going to pinch his wittle cheeks and tell him how precious he is!! Reckon he'd let me see his itty bitty baby boy feet? OMG HOW PRECIOUS!!!
