My musical taste varies like crazy.  My Zune is loaded with everything from Yanni to ZZ Top and all kinds of stuff in between.   I like fun Country (Big & Rich and Gretchen Wilson and Brad Paisley, not the twangy “my dog died” kind of Country), Classic Rock & Roll (like Bob Segar and REO Speedwagon and Boston and Styx, that era), new Rock (like Daughtrey and Maroon 5) and harder Rock (like Chevelle and Staind), and softer stuff too (like Yanni, Enya, Enigma).  I am all over the board.  You’ll notice no Rap or Hip Hop jazz in there.  That makes my hair stand up.  Anyway, all of this is to say that I station surf ALOT on the radio while driving.

This morning, I landed on Country and I heard a song that made me laugh.   I love those.  This is a new song by Kenny Chesney and I’m not even sure exactly what the title is, but I think it’s “Heaven” (don’t quote me on that) and there was a lyric that tickled me.  He sang, “We all want to go to Heaven, but we don’t want to go today.”  But you have to hear it with the Country flair.  Go here if you want to hear a snippet. . . since it doesn’t even get released until August 10.  It’s fun and kinda got me smilin’.  For a Monday morning, that’s really doin’ something.

What’s on your Zune? Ipod? Mp3 player?  CD player?  Cassette player?  Vinyl?  (Don’t laugh!  I still have my old albums.)
