When I hosted said gatherings, she never called to ask what my wish for her to bring was. Not ever. It was always, "I'll bring the monkey bread!" I could no more choke it down than I could milk a tarantula. Honest to God just the thought of it makes me crazy. Yours looks way, way, way more detailed and good than hers though. Hers was Pilsbury rolls torn up and rolled into balls, thrown into a bundt pan, drenched in margarine (yes, margarine) and sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar. That's it. Vile stuff I tell you.
