Okay, so she’s not a REAL monkey, but she certainly acts like one – alot of the time.  I’ve said since the day I got her that she’s confused.  I don’t think she had a mother to show her how to be a cat.  She’d swing from the ceiling fan if I let her.

She was found by a neighbor wondering around the pool who took her home, made up fliers and posted them everywhere hoping to find her family – to no avail.  This neighbor already had two cats who were NOT taking kindly to this cute little bouncy kitten (she was about four months old at the time).  So her brilliant mind started ticking and she thought of ME.  Me who just two years ago lost my kitty of 15 years, Sammie.  It was much more difficult than I ever imagined it would be, losing her, and I did NOT want to go through that again.  But after much prodding, I went over to “take a look” at the little kitty.  Well, when I picked her up, it was like Sammie blessed her.  I know I’m starting to sound a bit strange now, but I really felt like it was okay.  So, here she is. . . in action.

This is what she wants to do at night when I’m going to bed.  Yes, that is her tongue on her nose.  She’s concentrating really hard, ya think?

This little toy keeps her entertained for hours.

She must pause to lick her nose some more. . . cuz she can, I guess.

Aawwwhh!  She’s starting to tucker out.  There’s a ray of hope that she’ll sleep now. . . . since it WAS late at the time.

Nope – she was trickin’.  She still wants to play.  **whimper whimper**  She doesn’t have to get up in the morning.

So I drugged her.  (JUST kidding!!!!)  No, she started turning into a ham in front of the camera.  See here, she was going for the sexy kitten look.  I think she’s got a future.

She even poses in her sleep.
