Installed a window unit in the bedroom and try to keep the temp no higer than 50 degres. Even thou I'm lucky when I can get a 4 hour stretch of sleep, at least I'm not "boiling in my own juices"-By the way, I like the Nelly song so much my co-workers sing it to me when pull up my hair and start fanning myself! I went through menopause overnight. I had a horrid, hospital-threatening experience one month and then I was done. Not kidding. I prayed for hot flashes. I hate being cold and would have welcomed the heat. Nothing. No night sweats. No mood swings (at least none I noticed). Ha Ha. The only issue I had was a headache that lasted 3 months. No meds would touch it, not even an alcohol-induced coma. The biggest body issue I have is that no matter how much I lift weights, my arms are sagging like my 3rd grade teachers. I use to be so disgusted with her flabby arms and now they exist on my own body. My arms shake like a bowl full of jelly. Me and Santa. We hang together these days. Luckily she wasn't having a mood swing or I might not be here now. Then last year I had my first hot flash, in front of my sister....She laughed so hard...I just looked at her and said "shut up, you were almost 50 before it happened to you...I'm not 40 yet."....
