I just read Nineteen Minutes by Jodi Piccoult but won't recommend it to you because it took me a month and a half, plus it's about a school shooting and all I could do was feel sorry for the shooter who was this kid bullied to the point of breaking and I sooooooo worry about these kids. Then in the end, after his trial and everything, he kills himself by shoving a sock down his throat. HORRIBLE!!! I HATED IT!!!!! I HATE books that make me love the underdog (yes, even a murderer...) and then surprise us by KILLING THEM!! HATE. IT. So don't read that one. Right now, however, I'm reading Enemy Women about the Civil War and am loving it very much. I love historical novels, especially ones involving the Civil War. Love that. So I recommend it to you.
