So much to tell! What a busy weekend! Great friends, good times, lots of margaritas and mojitos, Thock party, ferry ride, Seattle tour, hot guys, Canada, and I got to meet my RahRah friends’ children! WHAT great kids! I’ve only got about 500 pictures to filter through and edit so I can share here. It will definitely have to be broken down into segments. And it’s going to take me a little time.

I walked into the office my first day back to my worst nightmare (I will NEVER take time off ever again if this is what happens). My biggest project was just canceled, leaving me with the distressing task of laying off 20+ people. People with families, school tuition, brand new babies, stories that break my heart. So to say that I’m a little distracted and distraught is an understatement.

OH! Also, I came home to the fact that my youngest child and his new girlfriend are ENGAGED! Yes, engaged. Engaged to get married. . . . . . Next Friday! Nothing like a little spontaneity to liven up a room. You gotta love the young ones. They are in LOVE! (Not pregnant – everybody’s first question) Anyway, there’s so much to plan and get ready and coordinate in a very tiny timeframe. Can we say “Chicken with its head cut off”? My baby’s getting MARRIED!!!!!

So, let’s see. . . . I’m editing photos of Mo’s kids to post here. Such great kids. I love them as if they were my own. William, on top of being the smartest kid young man I know, is my new buddy because he’s genius, he’s the Grillmaster AND he’s the Bartender. I lack ALL those skills, so I will hang close to my newest friend.

This is William at work. As I call it, practicing for college. He’s just so cute. (sorry William, I know guys hate being called cute. i just can’t help it)

And Melanie. Sweet, sweet Melanie. First, this girl is so immensely creative that it blows my little creative loving mind. Add that natural talent to her natural beauty and you’ve got quite a little gem.

This girl can’t TAKE a bad picture. She’s gorgeous! And so photogenic that I thought she should go into acting or modeling. She’s THAT pretty.

I didn’t get a picture of Ben. He’s 15. Enough said. Fifteen year old boys do not allow creepy old ladies near them with cameras. He’s possibly the smartest of the bunch just for that reason. But I still love him just the same.

So, I’ve still got to tell everyone about the Seattle tour, the Thock Party (you can’t miss this one) and the Canada trip. So many great times, great stories.
I won’t mention how I was swearing at the designers of the Norfolk, VA airport parking garage at midnight as I was trying to find my Jeep in Section 1G, which go figure, was on the THIRD floor. . . after I walked 658 miles trying to find my vehicle. I won’t talk about how they CANCELED my flights from Seattle to Norfolk without telling me, then tossing me to another airline like yesterday’s newspaper. (Thanks American Airlines! Turns out I like Continental better anyway!!! They serve MARGARITAS!!)

I’M HOME!!
