Ok. I was looking at that picture thinking, "What the hell kinda rice do they have over there? It looks like mashed potatoes." Then I read on. And feel SO much better. You don't know how long I stared at that picture.

Things trip me up. The world stops while I try to figure out what the hell is going on. Then as soon as I give up and keep on going.....oooooooooooh!

If I had a nickel.....

My favorite, which lasts for a few days is some chicken breasts, chopped up, first fry some chopped onions until brown, add in a punned of chopped mushrooms, fry till cooked(with loads of garlic and salt), throw in chicken and cook till brown - add in a tin of mushroom soup and half a pint of cream! Serve with rice/pasta. So good!!

My Mom-in-law made us chicken breast with Campbell Mushroom soup poured over it with mashed potatoes and it was great! Keep in mind I do not like mushrooms and don't eat them but I do like the dish. Very inexpensive as well.

DONNA .. well said indeed.. crockpots have saved my rear so many times I cannot count. Using that and the rice and pasta dishes. WHEW.. it is amazing. This gal is eating out of her crockpot every single day for a whole year. It can be done simple and affordable. Link at my blog.. anyway.. I sure hope he can stop smoking that will be a wonderful thing for his health as well as his wallet!! I throw the darn rice in the crockpot too.. Real rice about a cup full and add a can or two of water. WHOLE thing cooks together.. ready at one time.
Some time I add broccoli cuts too. Hope your week goes well! : ) It's cool here and I am loving it!!
