This past weekend was AGAIN rainy and dreary. See – I switched it up. I didn’t say dreary and rainy. I’m clever like that. However, the temps weren’t horrible. It was cool but not too cool for me to open up the doors and windows. (I do that every chance I get!)
This little fellow had been coming by to visit EVERY day. He’s sneaky and quick and he spooks easily. But I managed to catch him. I was so excited!!

I told you she spooked easily. I was in my dining room shooting through a screen door using my super duper zoom lens a good 30+ feet away, but the clicking started and she freaked out and flew away!
Cool, huh?
Or have I spent too much time behind my desk? **insert loony whistling**
I don’t even know what kind of bird it is. What I DO know is that she is LOUD! For a tiny bird, she’s got some lungs! Does anybody know what kind of bird this is?

You should so be in SA with me, it was 27 degrees celsius all weekend, which is 100 degrees Fahrenheit your temp! (I think… according to the converter I used) great pool weather, and not too hot so you can’t move!
I hope work has gotten better since you guys won the contract! and that you are not as busy – I see you are blogging more, so thats a good sign!
lots of love to you my friend!

That picture is amazing!
I have a bird story too.
That is a Carolina Wren!
I have them in my yard sometimes. They can be quite vocal. Great photos.
See, I was gonna go all smartass and say “A fast one” but starwoodgal up there has some actual knowledge and ruined it for me. *pouting childishly*
Hahahaha!
A Carolina wren? I guess that would explain why I’ve never seen one here in California. It’s cute though!
