This past weekend was AGAIN rainy and dreary. See – I switched it up. I didn’t say dreary and rainy. I’m clever like that. However, the temps weren’t horrible. It was cool but not too cool for me to open up the doors and windows. (I do that every chance I get!)

My two boys could not be any more different than if I tried. They’ve always been this way – even inutero. My oldest has always been high-energy (he kicked. . . ALOT). My youngest, well, I was certain that he was a girl because the pregnancy was so completely opposite. He [...]

I wasn’t sure what to call this post, as it’s a cross between “Confessions of a Workaholic” and “Spring Break” and “Let’s Celebrate”. Confused yet? Welcome to the ride. I’ve decided to call it “Punch Drunk”.
Seriously, I have to admit it here. . . “My name is Donna and I am a workaholic”. Apparently THAT [...]

The weekend was rainy and dreary. Not much was accomplished Saturday as I’ve been fighting allergies since last weekend when the sun peeked out and warmed our area for a few days. That’s all it took. The trees in front of my house are budding despite the digression back to seriously cold [...]

These last couple of months have been a bit rough. But I promised myself when I first started this blog that it would be a cheerful and positive account on what to do with yourself after the kids grow up and leave home. . . and I didn’t want to turn it into a [...]

Do you see the snow? Look really hard.
THIS almost paralyzed this area today. Mind you, it IS the most snow we’ve seen all winter, but seriously. I’m a little girl (okay, I’m an old girl) from Mississippi who is not accustomed to much snow. But this little sprinkling didn’t scare me.
It [...]
